This First Day Cover was issued May 11, 1984 in New Orleans, Louisiana, commemorating the Louisiana World Exposition (1984 World’s Fair).

The cachet was issued by Louisiana Lodge No. 102, F. & A.M., as part of the “Freemasonry Today” series. It highlights the Masonic Hospitality Room and salutes both the 1884 and 1984 New Orleans World’s Fairs.

Postmarked New Orleans, LA (70113) on First Day of Issue, the cover bears the 20¢ Louisiana World Exposition commemorative stamp (“Fresh water as a source of life”).
